Visual Journey: Transforming Dreams into Reality with Wedding Rendering and Design Visualization

Understated Elegance with a Touch of Eccentricity | A Wedding at The Chicago Athletic Association

I’m excited to share this set of wedding rendering visuals to communicate the design story that brings to life the magic of a wedding day—two venue spaces transformed and flipped into four captivating parts of the couples’ big day, all brought to life in detail by my wedding rendering design service and created for Gretchen Culver of Rocket Science Events.

Ceremony: Drama Unveiled with Ingenious Wedding Rendering

Imagine a theatre-style ceremony where every guest enjoys an unobstructed view of the couple! Once I had created a full 3D model of the White City Ballroom at the Chicago Athletic Association, I undertook a line-of-sight study to ensure the placement of each ceremony chair would allow every guest to have a clear view of the happy couple. To welcome the guests, at the entrance to the ceremony, columns adorned with bright floral arrangements and acrylic boxes housing unique marble busts and bugs provided a sneak peek into the offbeat vibe of the day—a testament to the benefits of creating wedding renderings to communicate a vision. Ceremony florals featured a bright, colour-blocked asymmetrical design with colourful butterflies set flying over the arrangement.

Cocktail Hour: Elegant and upscale with a hint of what’s to come – Event Rendering Elegance

Transitioning into the cocktail hour, I used event rendering techniques to add decor to the second space in the venue, the Madison Ballroom, and showcase the elevated decor. Custom columns holding champagne glasses, bright floral accents, casual seating, antique mirrored bars, a unique couple’s crest and dark green velvet drapes pulled back to let in some light—all meticulously brought to life through wedding rendering.

Dinner: Understated Elegance with a Touch of Eccentricity

For the sit-down dinner reception, I created visuals to portray the theme and atmosphere of understated elegance with a playful twist. I included details such as the custom spinning Ferris wheel menus and centrepieces with antique candles and cloches filled with curiosities—a playful yet classy touch. The outputs I created allowed Gretchen to present her clients with unique and detailed visual representation of the design she had envisioned whilst giving her clients an elevated and special experience.

After Party: Colorful Chaos and Design Visualization in Full Swing

The grand finale! An explosion of colours and energy, entirely brought to life through design visualization. Disco ball drinks on custom column shelves, towering palm arrangements, and vibrant wallpapers—a celebration of visuals brought to life through the artistry of wedding rendering. I added custom planter boxes around the perimeter of the room showcasing tropical palms, disco balls and hidden jungle animals. There was even a temporary tattoo station for guests to treat themselves whilst sat on a vintage barber chair.

The Magic of Wedding Rendering: Presenting Elevated Visuals

I created each of the outputs with care, ensuring the design concept, atmosphere, detail and vision were included and then finished each output by hand-rendering in the floral, lighting and artistic details so Gretchen could present her clients with a set of comprehensive visuals to communicate the creative vision she had in her mind.
